Documents
You need a valid driving licence held for at least 2 years and an ID card or passport. Foreign nationals must provide a passport and, where required, an international driving permit. Any additional driver must be named in the contract and meet the same requirements.
Deposit
A deposit applies to every rental and is returned when the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition. The amount depends on the vehicle class and insurance package. With Total, the deposit ranges from 200 € to 500 €. Depending on the vehicle class, you leave the deposit in cash or by card. With a card, the amount is only held (pre-authorisation).
Insurance
Basic is included in the price, with an excess of 400 € to 2,500 € depending on the class. Medium (from 6.99 € per day) reduces the excess, while Total (from 15.50 € per day) offers full CASCO cover with no excess. Read more about car rental insurance.
Mileage
Mileage in Serbia is unlimited for rentals of 2 days or longer, and for trips abroad from 10 days. Shorter rentals include 150 km per day; unlimited mileage can be added for a fee. Additional kilometres above the limit are charged according to the price list.
Driving outside Serbia
You can take the car outside Serbia with agency approval. You need a green card (17 €), and you see the cross-border fee in your booking before confirmation.
Pickup, return and opening hours
Our office is at Mije Kovačevića 10, Belgrade, Monday to Saturday, 8:00–18:00. Pickup and return at Nikola Tesla Airport are available 24/7, and we can deliver to addresses in and around Belgrade. Outside office hours, the surcharge ranges from 10 € to 35 €; on Sundays it is 25 € for pickup and the same amount for return. Winter equipment is included.
Payment
Prices are quoted in euros and payable in Serbian dinars at the National Bank of Serbia middle exchange rate on the payment date. You can pay in cash or by card depending on the vehicle class.
